Leadville Qualifying Series

With Lifetime Fitness buying out the rights to the Leadville 100 for a rumoured 7 figure sum, they are wasting precious little time in expanding the race and tying it in to a qualifying series. Not sure if that's good or bad, however if they do a worthy job in keeping the cache of the race intact as well as killing it logistically especially where the town locals and businesses are concerned, well then I think that would be GOOD!
